Can't Fill Threaded Frames with Placeholder Type

Hi,

I have InDesign CS6 and am working on a 10 page document with facing pages (Primary Txt Frames - unchecked). I manually created a text frame on page 1, added a chapter number near the top and some placeholder type below it. After formatting both with separate paragraph styles, I wanted to add more p.h. to the remaining 9 pages. First I created the txt frames for each page and then threaded them.  Unfortunately when I tried to fill them with more p.h. text, InD only fills one page at a time. Is there an easy way to fill threaded frames in one go at this point? I think I'm having this issue beacause I'm using more than one P. Style, but maybe someone can shed some light on this? (Smart reflow is turned on).

kind regards,

Chris
