Adding an invisible hyperlink or bookmark

I have a 8 pdf's which were placed inside an InDesign CS6 file, I need to be able to add either hyperlinks or bookmarks to an area on one page to link to one of the ther pages. If this were a straight InDesign file with layers I would be able to select the text or image I would need to be intereactive and link it that way. But I do not see how I can achieve this by just adding an invisible rectangle on an are of a page and when this is clicked it would take the viewer to another page.

I originally posted this in the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite ( which the main app is InDesign )

any help?
