I am currently working with indesign cs2 - I know this is a very old version, if I had the money to upgrade I would so please don't suggest this as it is very unhelpful! I am using a PC on windows 10. Everything has been working great with no problems until this week, when I launch indesign I get the error message 'The installer seems to have written the wrong AUM Application ID' and a blank screen - no toolbars or anything, it is completely unusable! To my knowledge or recollection I have not done anything new or different, no new downloads/updates (unless there have been auto ones). It was working fine Friday, then when I came to use it again Monday I get this.
I have tried the only fixes I could find
- on the add/remove programs modify is greyed out for indesign, I cannot click it.
- I have tried to delete the incorrect registry key, but I don't have one that matches what is stated.
Please help! I rely heavily on this program.
