I have a bunch of PDFs placed into InDesign but some show boxes/lines (see attached). After searching, it's to do with transparency and PDFX-1a which doesn't support transparency (v1.3?).
So I opened one of the PDFs and exported it to Acrobat 10, then re-imported into InDesign but can't get rid of the lines either by:
- Exporting to png Directly from InDesign
- Copying and pasting from InDesign into Photoshop
The pdfs are arranged into a new portfolio layout (with effects) so I need the InDesign layout and can't just use the PDFs. BTW, these boxes/lines don't appear in Acrobat, only when placed into InDesign.
Does anyone know how to sort this out?
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
