CC2018のインデザインを使っています。アップデートしてからスマートガイドが表示＆作動しなくなりました。
上記のようにスマートガイドの設定にはチェックをいれているのですが。。。
どなたか、解決方法をご存知でしたら教えていただきたいです。

Mouse is offset when clicking Indesign menus
We set up a brand new computer yesterday and installed Indesign from the CC app. When Indesign is open on the laptop screen or the Displayport connected monitor the menu and mouse pointer are offset by the length of the adjacent menu. So for example in order to see the File drop down the mouse needs to be over the Edit menu and to see Edit it needs to be over the Layout menu. When you use the VGA connected monitor the problem goes away.
We have made sure the video card is up to date. The problem only exists in Indesign. It does not happen in Illustrator or Acrobat.
I've seen some older discussions that went unanswered related to this so any help is greatly appreciated.

InDesign Won't Package Properly?
Hi all! I'm running InDesign CC 2017 on my Mac (Sierra 10.12.2) and experiencing issues with packaging files. (It's probably noteworthy that I'm also connected to a server here at work, and that connection can sometimes be exceptionally slow.)
Here are the issues I'm experiencing, using one recent book layout as an example:
1) Not all links get packaged. It looks like InDesign skips out on about half of them, i.e. there was a document with 112 links and it packaged 65. I don't see a pattern in its selection process... but here's the really weird thing: if I try to manually add one of the links it missed inside the Links folder, I get a dialog box from Finder asking me if I want to replace it. In addition, if I right-click on a link I know was skipped from the packaged .indd file's Links panel, and ask it to reveal in Finder — I watch it suddenly appear in the Links folder in front of my eyes. The links are there, but not there. Mostly, not there: if I send the package to another person, they get a missing link error for the 57 missing/"ghost" links. Definitely not packaged, then.
2) InDesign now refuses to package because of links. The above happened last week. This week, the program has decided to simply refuse attempts at packaging because it "cannot copy linked files".
3) Packaged files become corrupted in that they can no longer produce PDFs. Once I packaged the InDesign file, I can no longer open the resulting .indd and export Interactive nor Print PDFs from it. I simply get the error that it failed. I have to go back to the working file I created the package from.
Needless to say, our department's workflow is slowing down significantly and we have concerns about our final files at all times. Can anyone help me assess what's going on? My initial thoughts are: a) Trash preferences? and b) I've read theories about shortening link filenames, and deleting special characters from them (read that even 1 or 2 offending filenames can cause issues). I've also read a theory that InDesign will behave strangely when link paths are too long? Can anyone corroborate these thoughts? It will take forever to save these links differently, and our source content will always be on a server and thus have a lengthy path — I'm hoping that going forward I won't have to manage version control across local drives and servers just to cater to this issue.

InDesign CC Library Text Edit Option Grayed Out
This seems to be an intermittent issue; I've created hundreds of these for libraries in InDesign, but recently and with only some of my library entries, I am unable to edit. When I right click the item within an InDesign document, I get an error message that states that the text is uneditable in InDesign, but I can put it into a document. When I select the text to edit within the library, edit is grayed out.

PDF Accessibility: Master page items artifact by default-how to change?
Hi, I'm working in CC 2018, InDesign 13.0.1 on a Mac running OS Sierra. The recent updates have played havoc with the accessibility of master pages in my templates for technical documents and newsletters. We keep disclaimers (including links to URLs and email addresses), mastheads, banners, etc on the master pages so we can better control design and reading order by using a combination of articles and layers. The new CC InDesign versions automatically artifact all items on master pages and I can't figure out a way to make them active again. Also, the URLs on the master pages are now dead, even though they work if I move them off the master pages onto a "live" page. Does anyone know a way to make the master page items active again? We must make the changes in InDesign, not wait and do it in the exported PDF because we are frequently making changes to these documents and don't have the time to constantly remediate newly exported PDFs. This impacts many, many of our documents and publications, which all have to be accessible.

Unable to Place pdf in Indesign
I have tried to place a pdf into my InDesign page, but it says, "Cannot crop to trim box. Either the trim box is not defined, or is empty. It will let me place a jpeg into the box, but not my pdf. Any suggestions?

Can't add certain words to dictionary
Hello,
I have added a lot of words to the user dictionary in InDesign. But some words are impossible to add. When I right click them they seem to be added to the dictionary but still there's a red line underneath them.
I think that it might be words that I have accidentally clicked 'Ignore all' on.
How can I add them for good in the dictionary?

Embed Fonts and Text Fields for Free Adobe Users
I can't for the life of me find this information. I'm going to just put the whole thing out there to see if someone can help.
I use InDesign to create PDFs for my clients. These aren't standard forms because I'm more of a designer and creating things like wedding invitations and cards where I can't use standard fill in the blank form fields. I have commercial fonts I use in these designs that I found out how to embed into PDFs, but these are only editable if you have Adobe Pro. Plus, I have to already have text in a field for that to work instead of entering a blank text field that people can add to if they want without requiring it.
How can I embed fonts and place additional empty text fields into my design for an end user that only has the free version of Adobe Acrobat?
Also is there a way to add a blank text field without specifying the direction, size or font of the end text?

Trouble with Arabic language
So I've followed all the steps to change my version of InDesign to English - Arabic enabled, changed it over to the world ready paragraph composer, and it still won't recognize Arabic. I can't write in Arabic, so I am copy and pasting in from Word, and when I do, all of the characters are just squares. Any advice would be helpful.

Is there a problem with Indesign effects exporting to PDF?
Hi All... Since updating to the latest version of Indesign, I can't seem to get my effects to work when I export into a PDF? Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with the new version of Indesign? I have a job that I'm urgently trying to get out but can't get the drop shadow or bevel emboss to transfer to the PDF that needs to go to my client? Can anyone help me with this ASAP pleeeeease???

How to view "text direction" and "table direction" buttons in InDesign
HI all,
am trying to insert Arabic text in a document and wanted to also modify the tables (changing columns orders). However, I cannot find in Character panel and Table panel the "change direction" buttons. Have Indesign CC 2017.

Currently, the company we hire to create them uses http://flippingbook.com/ but having looked on their website it appears it will only work on PC's.
Can anyone suggest something similar that will work on Mac?

Problème de numérotation
Pour pouvoir faire suivre ma numérotation dans mes différents bloc en fonction d'un style j'ai donc créer une liste.
Le problème est que lorsque je veux créer une table de matière, elle prend la numérotation du style. (Voir la photo ci-joint)
J'aimerais comprendre pourquoi et comment faire pour que ma liste ne s'applique pas a ma table des matières !!!

2018 Indesign CC will not package?

Why is InDesign CS6 loading extremely slow????
The company I work for has bought several licensed copies of the creative suite and ever since it was installed; the machine with the following specifications that I use:
CPU: i7-3770 @ 3.4 (4 core, 8 threads, 8mb cache)
O/S: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Built 7601)
RAM: 8GB DDR3
V/C: Radeon HD 5450
HDD: 60GB OCZ-Vertex 3 SSD (Primary)
HDD: 1x 2TB + 1 x 1TB SATA 3 drives.
Approximately 3 weeks ago, the machine became unresponsive due to a Photoshop CS6 64-bit issue along with Internet Explorer. At which point, I had to kill the process in the Task Manager; and ever since then, it has not been the same since.
All 64-bit applications for Adobe Creative Suite, take so long to open; that I can go and get a cup of coffee and come back only to find that it is still bloody loading. If I load for example, Photoshop 32-bit edition, it loads almost immediately. This is good at first, however as soon as I use the drag drop feature as I always do. Especially when I need to crop a high resolution image, regardless of whether the high resolution image (8MB to 16MB) stored locally or on a server; the application takes for ever and ever to load the damn image.
The amount of memory allocated to the application, starts at just over 125MB and then spikes up to 1.5TB; at which point still does not do any thing except sit there idling for no apparent reason.
This morning, opening InDesign CS6, took approximately 10 minutes to open itself. My recollection last week, I had closed all files before closing the application itself. So why the hell is it taking this bloody long to do so.
I have checked the Adobe Application Manager and everything is up to date. Microsoft Windows 7 is up to date. So what else is the problem. Could it be the services that is causing the issue?

Need help on page size of A4 paper with 0.125 in bleed!
The printing company needs an 8.39 x 11.94 inches document (A4 size, plus the 0.125 inches bleed).
So I have an A4 (8.2677 x 11.6929 in ) document with a 0.125 inch bleed on all sides; when I export it via PDF (with 0.0833 inch offset) the page size becomes 8.85 x 12.28 inches. I don't know why, or how it results to that page size; I tried reducing the offset to zero but it still is the same size and does not abide by the specs the printing company needed. What do you think is the culprit, or what should I do to get this size?
