The Indesign help says
InDesign inserts a marker in text for items such as index entries, XML tags, and hyperlink text and anchors. These markers have no width and they don’t affect composition of text. However, you can select these markers and cut, copy, or delete them.
But as far as I can see, that's not the case, in that you cannot select them. Or am I missing something?
What is the price for the indesign CS6? (danish version)
I cant find the price anywhere for the "stand alone" program.

I'm creating an ebook. I have two issues I need help with regarding buttons and interactivity.
1) How do I link an image to a later page?
For example, I'm introducing contributors--but want to offer readers the ability to fast track to their bio page (at the end of the document) and weblinks...
2) Why are my interactive buttons not showing up on mobile or ipad?
I'm trying to include social icons that link to contributors social channels. Why do these show up and work in Adobe Acrobat Pro--but not on my iphone and ipad?

I've trashed prefs, etc, still crashes. Will un- and re-installing the program fix it?
Sometimes when I'm working in Indesign, I click any kind of object (square, type, etc.) and suddenly 20 documents (that I previously worked on) opens and I can't return to the original document.
Hi I need help with using my ID CS4 program. I do nothave a serial number and am not sure what to do. I purchased the program years ago and have no receipt or boxes. Yikes! What can I do?
I can download creative Cloud but it fails to install.
I have CS5.5 and I created a document for work in InDesign (they have CS3). I need an amazing person to take my file, create a .idml in CS4, and send it back to me, so I can open it in CS3.

I do layout for an advertising magazine. Much of the content is received from others (the advertisers) and much of that is amatuer (created in Word, etc.).
I place the ads into an ID (using CC) and export to PDF. My printer has me using a PDF/X-1a:2001 standard and for color conversion has me using Convert to Destination (Preserve Numbers) with Destination and PDF/X Out Intent both Document CMYK. These settings work well for getting the RGB images in these documents output to CMYK as we need.
The problem is that often there will be text, or other fine line graphics, etc. that are actually rich black, printing on all plates, and the printer wants only a black plate to avoid registration problems.
We are printing on newsprint on a newspaper press.
Is there anyway to export to PDF and get these rich blacks to print only on the black plate (the copy also contains color images; usually RGB which the profile converts to CMYK)?
My InDesign CS6 does not list my Canon PixmaPro9000 Mark II printer in its list of printers. This printer is listed and prints from Microsoft Word and Pagemaker just fine. How do I get InDesign to recognize this printer?
My computer won't let me open or use InDesign. When I try to open the program it says: Adobe InDesign is shutting down. A serious error was dected. Please restart InDesign to recover work in any unsaved InDesign documents. When I try to restart -- I get the same message.
Should I try and take the program off my computer and then try and download it again?

No hay problema de enviar de una computadora a otra el PDF Interactivo con su carpeta de PDFs que mandará llamar.
El problema lo he encontrado al hacer la ruta ya que la pone muy específica, incluso con el nombre de mi DDuro y así no funciona en más computadoras, sólo en la mía.

I'm having display performance issues which I've already but aside from this InDesign is not coping well will large images and illustrator files all together!!! Slow, lagging. Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC are fine.
This issue just started today!!! Was fine a few days ago!!!! WTF is going on please??

Working with a file and the Display Performance > Typical Display is working fine. The moment I try to go Display Performance > High Quality Display it turns white and freezes up on me. I can't got back to Typical Display either, I just have to force quit. Not sure what's going on??
Hi I created a Magazine layout using InDesign CS6 and wanted it to be viewed on native Ipad reader (but not as apps). I put interactivity features like page navigations and hyperlinks and converted it to interactive pdf. The problem was the links and buttons are not showing on Ipad.
I tried using Acrobat Pro to create the hyperlinks and this time the navigations and hyperlinks are showing. But is there a way not to create the hyperlinks manually one by one (specially the next page and previous page). If I have more than 100 pages of documents this process will be very tedious.
Is there a solution to create the interactive pdf directly from InDesign without creating the links in Acrobat?

Since installing Mavericks have had terrible issues using InDesign on my less than 3 month old iMac.
Font selection is painfully slow as shown in this video...
Sometimes when trying to change a fonts weight it won't even register the selection. As can be seen in the video I have the font "Interval" selected and am trying to change its weight. I cannot do that. I then select an alternative font (you will see how laggy the font menu is) and it then takes around 7 seconds to change to the new font once selected. I can then change back to Interval and select the desired weight.
I have turned off the font previews in preferences as I thought this might be what was causing these issues, but sadly not.
Not sure whether the issue is Mavericks, Adobe or Extensis.
We also have the same sorts of issues on another older Mac in our studio. Before Mavericks it was fine. Not sure if that is just coincidence.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
